Daniel Kan

Daniel is an incoming medical student at the University of Cambridge. As a tutor, Daniel is passionate about giving students the help they need to achieve their full potential. 

Daniel specialises in tutoring Chemistry and Biology, having achieved the highest Mark in Hong Kong for both subjects in the 2023 IGCSE Edexcel examinations series, as well as achieving 5A* in A-level Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics, and EPQ in 2025. 

Additionally, Daniel has also achieved exceptional results in olympiad competitions. Daniel has achieved Gold Awards in the British Chemistry and Physics Olympiads, Senior Maths Challenge, as well as  the HK Biology Olympiad. A notable achievement is his first runner up prize in the HK Biology Olympiad, placing him second in Hong Kong that year. Daniel was awarded the Highest Mark in Asia for A-level Chemistry and Physics, alongisde being awarded the Highest Mark in the World for A-level Physics.

On top of his excellent academics, Daniel is also an expert in medical school applications, achieving a 3370 UCAT score in 2024 (99th percentile). He received 4/4 medical school offers from prestigious medical schools in the UK, and met his conditional offer for CUHK (4A*, >95% UMS average).
